Our faculty hold Master and Doctorate degrees from regionally accredited colleges, universities, seminaries and theological schools.

How do online classes work?
You will be able to access course materials, view lectures and complete assignments at your own pace.
Occasionally, instructors will call for a “Live Session” which is a time-sensitive event. We try to note this in the classroom and time it around your schedule. You will be given access to Zoom rooms for synchronous events.
How long does a course last?
Our courses are designed to be completed in one month.
However, you can complete your courses in 30-90 days.
An extension must be requested past 90 days.
When can I Enroll? Is There a Deadline for Enrollment?
You may start your course at any time.
There is no order in which you have to take courses to complete a Certificate Program or other program
How Do I Enroll?
Institute Courses are open enrollment.
Seminary Courses require and application to the Seminary and Password to the enrollment Page.
Select Courses are Cross-Listed and open to both Institute & Seminary students without a Password to the enrollment Page.
Select your course and click the PayPal Button to pay and enroll in a course. Once you have made your payment we will send you password, and instructions on how to enter your classroom.
How can I access my course?
You will be emailed your password after payment for your course is received.
We have scaled our courses so that you may be able to access your courses(s) on your desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone.
Are there pre-requisites?
Northwind Institute | Seminary does not require students to have a denominational affiliation.
Institute Courses do not have pre-requisites. (Except for select courses that have specific pre-requisites)

What are the course costs?
Institute Tuition starts at $50 per credit.
Select Programs have alternate pricing, check the enrollment page.
Seminary tuition starts at $100 per credit.

Are Textbooks Included?
Textbook costs are not included in your tuition unless otherwise noted.
All textbooks are available for purchase online at Amazon.com. Most texts are available in a digital format and can be viewed by downloading the FREE Kindle App to your device of choice.
Textbooks are also available directly from the publisher. Be sure to visit each program's textbook page for specific text information to find out more about its publisher, availability, formats, and price.

System Requirements - are there any?
You will need access to the internet.
There will be no other software programs that you have to purchase to complete Northwind Courses. Any programs you may need access to are FREE and available online.
It will be noted in the classroom if you will need access to programs like Skype, Kindle or YouTube.
You will need access to a word processing program in order to write and upload your papers and documents to Moodle to complete course requirements.

This program is similar to Microsoft Office. This program is used at regionally accredited colleges and universities.
Academic Policies:
Textbooks:
Textbooks are not included in the tuition fees for these courses.
Refund Policy:
100% Refund prior to the course start date & classroom access
0% Refund after the course starts or course access
Refund requests must be made within 30 days of course enrollment.
Medical Leave:
Students may request a medical leave which allows a student to return to their studies at a future date.
Enrollment Policies:
Open Enrollment:
Students are required to apply for admission to the Seminary to enroll in a course.
Course Schedule:
Students may start a course at any time.
Course Duration:
Courses may be completed in 30-90 days. After 90 days a grade of Incomplete may be filed requiring an approved extension. Courses not completed within the extension period will receive a grade of F.
Transcript Requests
A PDF transcript will be provided to you FREE of charge after each course you complete.
Students may request official and unofficial transcripts using the Transcript Request Form and paying the $50 Transcript fee.
Official Transcripts will be mailed to the Institution, Organization, or Employer
Unofficial Transcripts will me emailed to the student.

Institute Certificate Requests
A PDF Certificate will be provided to you FREE of charge after each program you complete in full.
Students may request an additional PDF Certificate or request a hard copy to be mailed.
Email Robert@northwindinstitute.org for the above service requests and to be invoiced $50.
Seminary Graduation
Students are required to complete a Seminary Graduation request form.
There are no Graduation Ceremonies
Diplomas are mailed to the student with and Official Transcript.
